Sweet As A Peach

Hey y’all! So yesterday was the first day of spring and the weather here was beautiful. While my hometown was getting snow and ice we were getting 80 degrees and sunshine. I gloated maybe just a little. I took the opportunity to shoot some spring looks for you guys, so plenty will be headed your way. I have to make up for all the days I didn’t post last week!

So I am talking about a dress that is near and dear to my heart. I wore this dress to my high school graduation. This dress is now big on me because I have lost a significant amount of weight. Trust me, I am not complaining. However, the baginess does make me appear bigger than I am. Now setting aside those body comments, more about the dress. I found this dress for $10 and it is from Francesca’s. It is the perfect peach and was a subtle hint at one of my high school colors, orange. For my graduation, I wore cognac colored peep-toe booties. I decided to switch it up and pair it with these light tan laser cut Dolce Vita shoes. I found these shoes for $22.99 last season and I absolutely love them.

Although the color of this dress is nearly perfect, that is not my favorite part of the dress. I absolutely die over the scalloped detail on the shoulders and the hem. I have a lot of scalloped hems hiding in my closet and plan to bring them out this spring. Anyone else feel like they are more of a spring/summer dress than a fall/winter? I probably have twice as many spring clothes as I have winter clothes. I am definitely a warm weather girl! I already have so many outfits pulled outside to shoot for you guys!
