Warm and Cozy

Saturday was a day filled with craziness! I started the day at my old dance studio helping in the office and watching my mom teach little princesses ballet. After that we headed to my old high school where our studio performed their first showing of the Nutcracker. Then off to the Christmas parade where I got to ride in the bed of a truck while the kids were dancing behind us. Then the second showing of the Nutcracker that evening. Lastly, I ended the night eating my first and only meal of the day at IHOP and caught up with some friends! It was the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. After all, I couldn’t miss Nutcracker! It is a tradition!

This day was both busy and exhausting, not to mention cold! So I decided to wear something more casual than a dress. I wore a fuzzy wool sweater from Anthropology, black J Brand jeans, Toms black wedge booties, and some sparkly earrings by Bauble Bar. I decided to also curl my naturally curly hair… so for you curly-haired girls out there, you know that means straightening and then curling! I had to take advantage of the opportunity to get used to using my new camera and snap some pictures for the blog! How did you spend your first weekend of December? xoxo
