Oh, Savannah!

If any of you know me then you know I was born in the wrong state. I am Virginia born and raised, but I have always felt that I belong in the South. I am always talking about how much I love Savannah, Georgia. It is southern, historic, and resembles a small town. Every time I go to Savannah I feel right at home. I am in love with the feel and especially the shopping! I see myself settling in Savannah after college. If you have never been I highly recommend going and can even suggest some places to visit, eat, stay, and shop!

Three weeks ago I had no idea when my boyfriend woke me up and told me to get ready that three hours later I would be in Savannah! I guess after dropping so many hints about how I belong in Savannah he finally gave in. He told me to dress cute (as if I don’t always) and that I was in for a surprise. I got dressed without knowing where we were going… but I settled for a preppy look. It was a humid and gloomy day but as always Savannah was perfect!

I wore an off-the-shoulder striped top with flouncy sleeves from Urban Outfitters, a black Forever 21 tulip skirt, and Seychelles black suede and wooden ankle wrap wedges. I topped off the outfit with my favorite cheap Amazon sunglasses, my freshwater pearl and leather choker, thin gold hoops, and as always my Pandora ring. Due to the humid weather and my naturally curly hair, I decided a half bun would be sufficient. I enjoyed my day trip to Savannah and I know I will always find my way back to where I belong. Oh, Savannah I will be back!
