So before I left for New York a friend of mine contacted me wanting to take some photos. Me being as desperate as I am for high quality Instagram pictures, gladly agreed. We decided to take the pictures all around my historic hometown on a 96 degree day. Seeing as the heat was a challenge I decided on an off-the-shoulder dress that fit loosely.
This chambray dress is imprinted with white pineapples to appease my love of the south. I paired the dress with white high top converse for a sense of comfort and a casual vibe. My necklace is a leather choker with a fresh water pearl that was a great find on Etsy. My wrist is adorned with my usual stack of my Daniel Wellington, Ethiopian bracelet, and my lat and lo bracelet inscribed with Fredericksburg coordinates. These playful photos will serve as a nice reminder of my hometown pride when I return to school once again this fall.
